“Is there a cure?”
“Is there?”
“What?”
“Where?”
“How?”
“When?”
Breath
Once
Twice
Thrice
Four times
And again
How can there be a cure
for life?
for innocence?
for truth?
For what lies deep in the our history
For what is yet to be…
How can there be a cure for trust?
Placed in you
Your parenting
Your protection
Your strength
Your love
How can there be a cure for awareness?
For knowing how to help live in
A world that is too noisy.Too dishonest
Too contradictory. Too harsh
Too out of tune
For their rhythmic selves
How can there be a cure for acceptance
Of a society
That welcomes
That includes
That lets you deep within itself
And then lets you be
You are not there to administer cures
You are there to
Sooth
Connect
Love
You are there to be witness to
A different way of being
Do not go looking for cures for autism
Breath
Once
Twice
Thrice
Cure your ignorance instead
